This classic combo of tonewoods balances the richness and woodiness of mahogany with the top-end chirp of Sitka spruce. Traditional scalloped X-Bracing lines the top for enhanced projection and articulation while three-ply top and single-ply back binding rounds its edges for a geometric accent.
Meeting its body, the LG-2 '50s Original brings on a mahogany neck with compound dovetail joint assembly with hot hide glue adhesive. The mahogany assumes a Rounded profile as it reaches from lower to higher registers. From here, an unbound rosewood fingerboard lands with twenty frets and Mother of Pearl inlays for a smooth feel on the fingers.
