Fender Custom Shop NAMM '63 Telecaster Journeyman Relic Electric Guitar, Tahitian Coral

The coral's always greener (or more pinkish orange) with this Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition NAMM Custom-Built '63 Telecaster in a refreshing Aged Tahitian Coral! Part of a limited, custom-run in commemoration of the 2026 NAMM Show, this limited release Tele comes together with plenty of customized specifications for a classically bold and bright Fender.

As part of a limited run of custom-designed models, this NAMM 2026 Telecaster assembles with classic Fender specs at every turn for something charming and musical. Everything here starts with a two-piece guitar and bass alder body, sorted for weight. In Fender Custom Shop construction, "sorted for weight" refers to a step in the build process where a cut body is selected among a lot for its light weight. This process lands the entire instrument at a comfortable weight with resonance throughout. From here, this light and resonant alder is splashed with a lacquer gloss finish treated to Fender Custom Shop's Journeyman Relic finish treatment. Imparting some gentle but tangible age to the lacquer finish with tasteful checks and wear, this warm Tahitian Coral color is elevated by a matching headstock finish.

From here, this NAMM Custom Shop brings on a 5/4 quartersawn maple neck in a '63 Strat Style "C" profile. This slightly fuller and rounder "C" profile balances smooth playability and a bit more substance with modern and vintage style. A nine millimeter AAA dark-tinted, round lam rosewood fingerboard lands with this quartersawn neck for a smooth, soft, and comfortable feel on the fingers. This board then fills out to a more modern, flatter 9.5" radius with twenty-one articulate 6105 Narrow Tall frets.

For its voice, this Custom Shop Tele bursts with two hand-wound Twisted Tele single-coil pickups. Wound for greater, brighter output, Twisted Teles are a popular pick for Custom Shops across the board with plenty of personality. These single-coils are shaped with Modern Tele wiring with a Greasebucket tone-saving circuit for retaining their character with different tone and volume settings. Backing up everything, this Telecaster grounds itself with a Tele 58-63 bridge with barrel saddles. A bone nut and Vintage-Style tuning machines appear at the scale's opposite end for smooth stringing. This NAMM 2026 custom build Telecaster travels with an included Fender Custom Shop Strat/Tele Black hardshell case.

A day at the shore with the sand in your toes but not your socks, this limited NAMM Custom Shop Telecaster is just that. Life's a beach, after all.
